Patrick joined Folkestone Gardening Services Ltd in 2024, taking over from Dave as our Head of Maintenance. With a passion for working outdoors and a strong background in grounds and site work, Patrick brings valuable experience and leadership to the team.
Before joining FGS, Patrick worked as a groundworker for several large companies, developing a broad range of practical skills and a strong work ethic. His attention to detail and commitment to quality make him a natural fit for overseeing our garden maintenance operations.
Patrick is now leading the launch of our new Ashford branch, where he is responsible for ensuring that the same high standards of workmanship, reliability, and customer service that have built our reputation in Folkestone are carried through into this exciting new area. His dedication and enthusiasm are helping to lay the foundations for the continued growth and success of the business.
Daniel Hegarty
Founder & Landscaping Specialist
Daniel is the founder of Folkestone Gardening Services Ltd and our paving and landscaping specialist. In addition to managing the business, he oversees landscaping projects from the initial 3D design stage through to completion, ensuring every project is delivered to the highest standard.
After studying Information Technology at university, Daniel realised that a traditional office-based career was not where his passion lay. Instead, he chose to pursue a career outdoors, working directly with people and transforming gardens.
Starting with a handful of inexpensive tools and his mother-in-law’s car, Daniel began offering simple gardening services to elderly residents in the local community. It quickly became apparent that there was a demand for a reliable, honest, and hardworking gardener who customers could trust to care for their outdoor spaces.
Through dedication, attention to detail, and a commitment to customer satisfaction, Daniel has grown Folkestone Gardening Services Ltd into a respected landscaping and garden maintenance company. His passion for quality workmanship, combined with a continual desire to learn and improve, has helped the business build a strong reputation throughout the local area.
Daryl Whyte
Landscapes Project Manager
Daryl is our Landscapes Project Manager and your main point of contact on-site for any questions regarding the work being carried out in your garden. He oversees projects from start to finish, ensuring that everything runs smoothly and to the highest standard.
A great communicator with a keen eye for detail, Daryl is highly attentive to our customers’ needs and is always happy to help. We consistently receive excellent feedback about his professionalism, friendly approach, and commitment to delivering outstanding results.
